Partridge Rock Chicken, Hen Hackle

This is chicken hen hackle, about two to four inches long, beautifully edged with gold, the main body is dark gray, with a speckled line running right up the middle. From a dark gray Partridge Rock Hen. Dramatic feather. 25 feathers per bag.
Silver Spangled Hamburg ChickenTwo to three inches long, these feathers have black and white soft feather base, rising to a white feather with a black tip… often a black spot as the tip. A black spot on a feather is called a “spangle”, thus the name of the chicken. The black has a little bit of iridescence in strong sunlight. Our feathers are carefully washed, dried, put through a freeze/thaw cycle, and hand packaged. The Medium bags are @ 6 in x 3 in and have @ 25 feathers each.
Chukar Partridge Flank Feathers@25 barred flank feathers from our Chukar Partridge. They range from 1 – 3 inches in length. Chukar have a gray and tan aspect, and these distinctive feathers sit on either side of their breast, making them stand out all year round. These yellow feathers have a unique texture specific to the Golden Pheasant. White fluffy base and white stem, the bright yellow vane spreads out like long fingers, not caught together like a normal body feather. Individually, the feather has a very pale yellow tip, but collect several together and the yellow becomes vibrant and eye-catching. Two inches or longer. Chukar Partridge Body Feathers, Medium Bag of Blues@25 Blue-tinged body feathers from our Chukar Partridge. They range from 1 – 3 inches in length. At certain times of the year, and depending on the flock’s organization, these blue-tinged body feathers will appear near the shoulders and back of the top ranked Chukar. Each bag is a mix of feathers from all of our pheasant hens. The feathers showcase every shade of brown imaginable. There are so many patterns, we couldnÕt describe them and instead took a random selection of feathers for a detail picture. Your bag may not contain these exact feathers, but they are all close. The pheasant hens were Ringneck, Buff, and Reeves Pheasant. The feathers are from all over the body and back, winter plumage. Beautiful! 25 feathers per bag, ranging from two to four inches in length.

Silver Pheasant have amazing feathers, and exceptionally haughty attitudes. These are white feathers with thin black lines. The black lines can be bold or fine, as illustrated in the images. Some of the bags include a couple of solid black silver pheasant feathers – which is not shown in the images. There are 25 feathers per bag. These feathers are more than an inch, less than three inches long.
